Designed for brazing copper tubular components for HVACR installation applications, the Sil-Fos^® 15 rings use a calculated alloy volume for use with standard size copper tube from ¼ inch to 1-1⁄8 inches. According to the manufacturer, the advantage of using these rings is consistent and repeatable joint quality while controlling alloy usage, and they are easy to use, minimize waste, and provide visual verification of a complete, sound braze joint. Sil-Fos 15 Rings come preloaded with the common ring sizes in a tough, durable case that can be reloaded. The new Sil-Fos 15 Rings Handy Pack is a secure and convenient package in which to store the rings. This box (made in USA) has strong latches, five to nine adjustable compartments, and provides permanent storage of rings on the job site. The Handy Pack is sold packed with 25 rings of sizes ¼-, 3⁄8-, ½-, 5⁄8-, ¾-, and 7⁄8-inch, and 10 rings
of 1-1⁄8 inches.
