After attending HARDI's first Focus Conference of the year (Strategic Leadership in Laguna Beach, Calif.), I was once again reminded of how essential ongoing professional development can be.
Last month, I was at my house settling in to watch the Super Bowl. Just as the national anthem wound down, the cable flickered. Then, a few moments before kickoff, it flickered again and cut out completely for the rest of the game.
Three years ago, I began my journey by serving as HARDI’s Secretary/Treasurer. Today, I have the distinct honor of calling myself your HARDI President.
With the highly anticipated 2014 HARDI Annual Conference finally here, I can’t wait to have all of you see what HARDI has planned for us. I think this is truly one of our best annual conferences, and I am honored to be able to share this experience with you as president of HARDI.
The much anticipated 2013 Annual Conference is finally upon us, and I am incredibly excited to show all of you the hard work that HARDI has put forth into making this one of the best annual conferences to date.
As I write this letter, HARDI is closing the door on a successful year of Focus Conferences and an extremely successful Congressional Fly-In where we set a new attendance record.
As I reflect on our many successes for 2012, I am honored to
lead HARDI into a new and promising year. 2012 brought exciting development to
HARDI and I’m confident that with your help, we will not only accomplish our
strategic goals for 2013, we will exceed them.
I am honored to be HARDI's president, following in the
footsteps of the association's great leaders and becoming the third generation
from G.W. Berkheimer to serve the industry. The 2012 Annual Conference was a
true success and a wonderful setting to inaugurate my leadership with HARDI.
“As this magazine makes its way across the country, I am optimistic that many of you are feeling the strong heat and humidity of summer. I want to encourage you not to lose focus on the bigger picture - growing and improving your business. The HARDI organization is as busy as ever making sure that the role we play is vital in helping you carve out your competitive advantage.” Those are the words of Bud Mingledorff, HARDI president. What else does the association have planned for the rest of 2012?
