Within the limits of ultimate system functionality, hydronic/mechanical artists can “paint their own canvas” — free to explore greater functionality, performance, and energy efficiency — all the while having the time of our lives (mechanically speaking).
Rosenberg backward-curved fans with electronically commutated (EC) motors are now available with three-phase 5.5 kW motors for greater power and efficiency.
Available in 1- to 5-ton capacities, the HSS Air Handler can be built in a variety of flow-through configurations that grant engineers and builders multiple installation alternatives.
Taco Comfort Solutions has added new features and capabilities to the 00e VR electronically commutated motor (ECM), wet rotor commercial circulator line designed for chilled and hot water applications. Available in four sizes (VR 15-3, 20-3, 25-3, and 30-3), the sensorless 00e VR line provides differential head pressures up to 42 feet and flows up to 360 gallons per minute.
The Direct Drive Dynamo centrifugal fans include models up to 24-inch wheel diameter and Gplus (Green Plus) electronically commutated motor (ECM) options up to 2 hp. The fans are SWSI, Class I, Arrangement 4 general purpose air-moving devices designed for supply or exhaust applications in commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC systems.
The Taco 0015e3 is a three-setting, electronically commutated motor (ECM)-powered circulator. With three settings, the 0015e3 is ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves and provides three maximum-feet-of-head pressure settings to match system requirements — low (5 feet), medium (10 feet), or high (18 feet) with a maximum flow of 16 gallons per minute (gpm).
The Backward Curved Centrifugal Fan, equipped with a plastic impeller, is high-voltage powered by a built-in electronically commutated motor (ECM), which enables the fan to run efficiently with low-energy transmission loss.
The new location will be the sixth store for Johnstone Supply Balsan Group (JSBG), which has been a member of the Johnstone Supply cooperative since 1995. JSBG first opened its doors in Exton, Pennsylvania. That store moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 2004. The same year they expanded, opening a second location in Annapolis, Maryland. Since then JSBG has grown to four stores in south eastern Pennsylvania and two stores in Maryland.
Taco Comfort Systems’ booth was among the busiest on the AHR Expo’s opening day. The Taco staff kicked off the event with a press conference that showcased a number of new products and leadership.
