The end of May marks the end of a special contest created by Dick Larkin, the "Yellow Pages Commando."

Larkin has been inviting visitors to his Web site to vote on the best Yellow Pages ads designed for a plumbing and heating contractor. The promotion is titled "Vote for the ‘WORLD'S BEST Yellow Pages Ad™.'" The ads and voting instructions can be viewed at www.ypcommando.com. Voting ends on May 31 and Larkin intends to publish all the results soon after.

The News will also be publishing the results for its readers as the summary report becomes available.
