WESTPORT, Conn. - An estimated 1,650 exhibiting companies will present the newest HVACR products at the 2004 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) to be held Jan. 26-28 in Anaheim, Calif. It will be the largest show ever on the West Coast, according to Clay Stevens, show manager.

"The show is really about new products and new technologies," stated Stevens. "The AHR Expo is about celebrating the developments of the exhibitors."

The last time the AHR Expo was in California was 1998's San Francisco show. The 324,000 square feet of exhibit space for the 2004 show represents nearly 8 percent growth compared to San Francisco.

The large number of exhibits at the three-day show is not the only draw for attendees. One of the AHR Expo's highlights is the second annual Innovation Awards, which focuses on the value, impact, application, and innovation of products in eight categories.

Popular features returning to the show include the Cyber Cafe, a bank of computers attendees can use to send and receive e-mails to help them stay in touch with their offices. Product Locators can be used to maximize time that visitors spend on the show floor. In addition, the New Product Technology Theater is a display area that allows attendees to get a glimpse of new products.
