FARMINGTON, Conn. - Carrier Corp. announced that it has revamped its Website to provide easy access to product and service information. According to Carrier, its global corporate Website (www.carrier.com) has undergone an overhaul to support the company's industry leadership profile and provide access to information on more than 5,000 Carrier products by country with just two clicks of a mouse.

The new site is easier to navigate and includes information on Home Comfort, Commercial and Industrial air conditioning solutions, Refrigeration and Food Service applications, Transport Refrigeration, and Passenger Comfort. A range of case studies also is included and will be constantly updated.

The existing sites for Carrier, which regularly receive more than 1.5 million hits a month, will be transformed to provide a consistent global look for the corporation's worldwide client base. Carrier's businesses and regional sites will migrate to the same format during the next 12 months, and all will become accessible through the global gateway.

"This is much more than an aesthetic change," explained Diana Sousa, vice president, corporate communications for Carrier. "This will bring uniformity to our sites worldwide so that the brands are even more recognizable."

Chuck Balawajder, vice president, information technology, added, "This investment will eventually reduce overall costs as we won't be reliant on so many different servers or versions of software."
