According to e-Builder, it provides a cost-effective system that allows formerly disparate groups — owners, architects, engineers, and contractors — to communicate vital project data in real-time using the Internet. The e-Builder system is designed to streamline the building process, reduce costs, and help lead to an on-time or early completion, with fewer problems along the way, says the company.
“We are delighted to receive the 2003 Technology Award for best Internet-based application,” said Jonathan Antevy, e-Builder CEO and co-founder. “It is an honor to be recognized by our colleagues in this market, especially when the judges and competition were so formidable.”
A panel of judges, including Jonathan Cole of Edwards & Angell, Jane Teague of Enterprise Development Corporation, and Ravi Ugale of Crossbow Ventures, decided upon the Technology Award.
