Manual D Ductsize (MDD) is a fast and simple program designed for sizing and analyzing HVAC duct systems based on the Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s (ACCA’s) Manual D procedures. It analyzes both supply and return duct systems. A built-in fitting selector displays hundreds of ACCA duct fittings. Optimal duct sizes are calculated for both round and rectangular duct sizes and all types of duct materials are accounted for. According to the company, even 2-inch-high velocity duct systems can be sized accurately. The software produces professional drawings and comprehensive duct sizing reports. The program requires Rhvac load calculation program and Drawing Board CAD software.
