The Alliance SL indirect-fired water heaters are available in five sizes ranging from 27 to 119 gallons. The water heaters have a seamless Hydrastone-lined tank, designed specifically for a wide range of water quality applications, and works well in poor water quality situations. The cold-water diffuser increases output by 20 percent, says the manufacturer. Two to 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation combined with the stone lining results in low standby heat loss of 1/3° per hour. A custom TPI thermostat control accurately controls water temperature, and all water heater connections are conveniently located on top of the tank for ease of installation and service. There is a one-year full tank replacement including the coil, a two-year warranty for labor allowance, and a one-year on parts. An optional lifetime warranty is also available.
