JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. - Meier Supply Co. Inc. has been recognized as one of central New York’s 50 fastest growing companies. The company was ranked 20th with a growth rate of 9.21 percent, according to the criteria set by Fast Track 50 and audited by the independent CPA firm of Fust Charles Chambers LLP.
Fast Track 50 determines growth rates by adding revenue and employee growth, weighting sales over employment by 2:1. Companies must be independent, for-profit, privately or publicly owned, headquartered or with a large presence in central New York, and have at least a four-year operating history.
“It has been an exciting year, full of accomplishments and challenges,” said Frank Meier Jr., president of Meier Supply. “The teamwork that helped us recover so quickly from devastating losses in the flooding of last June is indicative of the attitude at Meier Supply every day. In other news, the company recently announced the promotion of Dale Norton, formerly HVAC Product Division manager, to the position of sales manager for the company. Dan Fitzpatrick, who recently joined Meier Supply, has been named HVAC Division manager. Previously he worked as a national marketing manager for Carrier Corp.
