The criteria used to determine the winners included revenue generation to the cooperative, percentage of members buying products from the supplier, cooperation in resolving member issues, annual marketing fee support, as well as ease of working with Blue Hawk staff.
In May 2005, Blue Hawk was formed as a purchasing cooperative to address the competitive challenges occurring in the HVACR industry. Purchasing cooperatives are created and owned by independent businesses that have joined together to improve the performance and competitiveness of their enterprises. Blue Hawk members are independent HVACR distributors who serve HVACR contractors throughout the United States.
