MINNEAPOLIS - Trane is making HVAC parts even more accessible in
the Minneapolis/St. Paul area by opening three new parts centers in the Twin
Cities.
Trane’s first new parts center will be located at 7858 12th
Avenue South, Bloomington, Minn., at the 12th Ave./American Blvd.
intersection and is scheduled to open in November of this year. A second
and larger parts center will be located near Territorial and Vandalia, St.
Paul, and is scheduled to open in February 2008. Trane will also be opening an
additional Maple Grove location in late 2008. More information regarding the
additional locations will be available in the coming months.
Trane’s new parts centers will offer a full line of Trane and
non-Trane commercial parts - including more than 100 of the most recognized
wholesale parts and supply lines in the industry. Trane Parts Centers will
offer OEM spec parts for Trane equipment, aftermarket parts for almost any HVAC
system, as well as light commercial equipment. These new locations will have
more than double the warehouse space and four times more inventory than in the
old location.
“Our customers continue to tell us that they don’t want to travel
more than 20 minutes to purchase Trane and non-Trane parts,” said Bill Stewart,
district parts leader for Trane in the Minnesota/Dakotas district. “They want
better fill rates, competitive pricing, and the technical expertise to back it
up.
“The parts center openings in the Twin Cities represents our
desire to make HVAC parts available to our customers in the way that they want
to purchase them.”
In addition to opening the Bloomington and St. Paul Parts
Centers, service contractors and building owners will soon be able to purchase
parts online 24/7 through Trane’s ComfortSite ordering system and through an
express order system ready to ship any stocked emergency repair order part the
same day.
