WASHINGTON - Linc Facility Services®, a provider of facility management and operational support services, announced it has been awarded a three-year contract to provide comprehensive facility management services to seven Northwest Airlines buildings surrounding the Minneapolis Airport.
Under the agreement, Linc will provide single-source facility management that includes on-site technical operations and maintenance; HVAC; building controls; and plumbing services to Northwest's worldwide headquarters, flight simulation training center, and several hangars and office buildings. The contract totals seven buildings and 4 million square feet.
“We wanted to find an established vendor with a deep knowledge of aviation and airport management to fulfill this contract,” said Ron Toward, senior manager of facility operations at Northwest Airlines. “We developed a nitty gritty list of requirements and searched for a while before we found Linc Facility Services, who met all our criteria and more. We were impressed with their service offerings and, after visiting a couple of their existing clients, were convinced Linc was the perfect vendor to handle our facilities.”
“Linc has extensive experience in providing technical facility maintenance to airports and we look forward to bringing our award-winning business methodology and industry expertise to Northwest Airlines,” said Phil Rogers, president, Linc Facility Services.
