ARLINGTON, Va. - Four new locations in the Northeastern United States have been chosen to host the fall 2007 I=B=R Heating School this October and November: Hilton Garden Inn, Burlington, Mass., Oct. 23; Comfort Inn Pawtucket-Providence, Pawtucket, R.I., Oct. 24; Westchester Residence Inn by Marriot, White Plains, N.Y., Nov. 6; and Holiday Inn, Edison, N.J., Nov. 7.

Developed by the Gas Appliance Manufacturers’ Association’s (GAMA’s) Hydronics Institute Division, the I=B=R School provides expert training to contractors, wholesalers, plumbers, and installers in basic hydronic heating system design and installation. This year’s I=B=R School has been redesigned with a one-day format led by new instructor Bob Hedden, a fourth-generation master plumber-heating contractor. Hedden, a 40-year industry veteran, is also the executive director of the Oilheat Manufacturers Association and senior project manager for research and education of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA).

School hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at each location. Students can earn eight NORA continuing education units for taking this course.

Bulk quantities of the I=B=R School brochure are available upon request.
