NEW YORK - In addition to the full graphical system that operates on a workstation, Johnson Controls now offers two additional options: a ready access PC and ready access handheld system. The ready access portal is a task-based user interface that is a complementary extension of the full system, says the company. Running on a PC or PDA, the system is browser based and allows facility managers and building operators to use the system without a lot of training. Views can also be built for building occupants or tenants.
