SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Denso North America Foundation has pledged to donate $25,000 to the American Red Cross of Jackson, Tenn.
The company’s donation is to assist those affected by the Feb. 5 tornadoes that stretched across Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee, with the worst destruction occurring in Tennessee. According to the company, which runs manufacturing plants in Jackson, Maryville, and Athens, Tenn., Jackson was one of the areas hardest hit by the mid-winter tornadoes.
“We hope we can help some of the families, businesses, and communities recover from this devastation,” said Hiroshi Kitahara, executive vice president, Denso International America. For more information, visit www.densofoundation.org.
