While Major League Baseball is in full swing (pun intended) and the NBA Finals are upon us, I want to talk football. More specifically, I want to talk about the Super Bowl.
If you have no interest in attending Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Fla., this January, I give you permission to stop reading this blog entry.
However, if you want to see the contest between the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys (early prediction) you have to get in the game with NATE.
How hard to get are these tickets?
Last year a Phoenix radio station, KGME 1360 AM, sponsored Dumb Human Tricks for Super Bowl tickets. Fred Flores covered himself in peanut butter, stuck chicken feathers to himself, and wore giant chicken feet. But to add the finishing touch, Flores jumped head first into a truck with 2,000 pounds of cow manure - twice.
Now that is one way to get tickets, or you can win the NATE Bowl contest.
The basics of the contest are you need to go online and register your “team.” You get a point for every certified technician you have on staff.
And every time one of your techs get certified, recertified, or earns additional NATE credentials, the team gets a point.
Each point equals an entry into the grand prize drawing. So it does not matter if you are a two-man shop or have 100 employees, everyone has a shot to go to the big game.
