GAITHERSBURG, Md. - The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) has introduced an enhanced Quality Assurance Program (QAP) to ensure swift, single-source mediation and resolution of disputes between NEBB professionals and their customers.
Under the QAP, NEBB will intervene on any project if the customer feels that a NEBB-certified firm has failed to perform in accordance with NEBB Procedural Standards. An owner or project representative need only call or write the NEBB national office or local NEBB chapter to request assistance.
NEBB’s QAP applies to all projects that have been specified for completion in accordance with NEBB’s applicable Procedural Standards and delivered by a NEBB-certified firm in good standing. NEBB will issue Conformance Certification Certificates when called for in specifications and applied for by a NEBB-certified firm; however, a certificate is not a requirement to seek assistance under NEBB’s QAP.
“NEBB has a longstanding commitment to providing quality support for engineers and building owners, and/or building owners’ representatives, ” said Mike Dolim, NEBB executive vice president. “Our board of directors approved this enhanced Quality Assurance Program to provide our customers with a single contact to ensure prompt, professional support.”
