Ferguson Heating & Cooling announced the opening of two new branches for the northern Ohio market. The branches will be located in Cleveland and Akron - and each will be more than four times the size of Ferguson’s existing Cleveland and Akron branches that were part of the acquisition of United Automatic.
The branches will be a combination of Ferguson’s Xpress-style shopping and a traditional wholesale HVAC warehouse. The design of the stores and the new locations are in response to increased sales and a desire to provide superior customer service. Each branch also will provide a store layout that fosters quick turnaround times for contractors and their personnel.
“It is a true ‘Xpress’ experience,” said Matt Coley, general manger for Ferguson HVAC-Ohio. “All of our branches will have a bright, clean, fresh consistent look and feel; this is something the customer wants. No other distributor in the region will offer this type of environment.”
Ferguson Heating & Cooling – Ohio is part of the Ferguson family, providing HVAC distribution and support to the northern half of Ohio and the southern Michigan markets where it is the sole distributor of Trane residential equipment. Ferguson Heating & Cooling – Ohio also provides Trane commercial equipment up to 25 tons.
