According to Dave Demma, supermarket sales manager and coordinator for the training sessions, each of the focused, all-day seminars is designed to cover current system design and theory of operation, future trends in system design, component application and operation, system troubleshooting, and is recognized by the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) for continuing education credit.
The latest seminar versions also include guidelines for refrigerant conversions, methods for reducing energy consumption, in addition to covering emerging technologies such as CO2 systems, electric step-motors applied on expansion valves and suction regulating valves, and electronic controllers.
At the end of each seminar, time is set aside for one-on-one discussion with the contractor attendees.
