CARROLLTON, Texas - Daikin AC (Americas) Inc. announced the Behler-Young Co., a Michigan and northern Ohio-based wholesaler, will begin distribution of Daikin’s line of heating and air conditioning systems. The Behler-Young Co. has a national reputation as a progressive HVACR distributor; and since 1927 the wholesaler has expanded its reach throughout Michigan and northern Ohio.

“We share a common goal: to be the best in our respective industries,” explained Russell Tavolacci, Daikin AC vice president and general manager.

“Developing a preferred distribution in North America is an important part of our expansion plan. Distributors as professional as Behler-Young are valuable partners to Daikin.”

Daikin will support Behler-Young’s distribution by continuing to provide products, which are backed by one of the best warranties in the industry, according to the company. Daikin also helps its partners with marketing assistance, contractor training, a preferred dealer network known as DNA, and technical service assistance.

“Behler-Young is convinced that the partnership with Daikin positions our organization to deliver superior customer value, especially when comparing Daikin’s best-in-class warranty, extensive product portfolio, and product features to the competition,” said Doug Young, president, and CEO of the Behler-Young Co.

“Daikin’s aggressive product development pipeline will also enable Behler-Young to continue a legacy of offering industry firsts and product innovation to its customer base.”
