INDIANAPOLIS - Carrier Corp. announced that it has been
recognized by the Builder’s Choice Awards for the 11th consecutive year. In the
2008 Builder’s Choice Awards, Carrier noted that it was featured in six winning
projects, which were highlighted inBuildermagazine, a top
trade publication for the home building market.
For a quarter of a century, top builders and architects have judged
this award program that recognizes and showcases excellence in home design.
John Gibbons, Carrier vice president of National Accounts, said, “Carrier
products are built tough so that builders and homeowners don’t have to worry
about that part of their home.”
The Builder’s Choice Awards is the largest, most prominent design
competition in the industry. Projects
are selected based on criteria such as innovation in architecture, floor plan
efficiency, interior design, and creative use of materials. The builder and
architect for each project are asked to identify a brand that is most
significant in their project. Carrier was chosen in six of the winning
projects, including one Grand Award and five Merit Awards. From 46 categories
in this year’s Builder’s Choice Awards, there were 54 winning projects.
