WINDSOR, Conn. - Comfort Systems USA Energy Services, a subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, has received qualification to be listed on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Qualified List of Energy Services Companies (ESCOs).

Inclusion into this group of energy services companies means Comfort Systems USA Energy Services may compete for advertised federal energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs). The Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct) directed the DOE to develop methods and procedures to bring energy savings performance contracts into the mainstream of federal procurement.
