MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - CPS Heating & Cooling received recognition from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest as the organization’s 2009 Community Partner for Youth.
The company received this recognition for its financial support as well as contributions of its professional expertise to ensure the comfort of the Boys & Girls Club clubhouses. CPS personnel also volunteer their time to serve on Boys & Girls Club committees and assist with events.
“CPS Heating & Cooling has become a valuable and supportive partner to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest, helping us address the ongoing climate-control needs of our Marlborough clubhouse,” said Francis Hurley, president, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest.
“Owners Phil Baldwin and Charlene Allain and the rest of the CPS staff have been generous in giving us their time and talent. It is with great pleasure that we honor them as our 2009 Community Partner for Youth.”
To recognize the businesses and individuals who contribute their time, expertise, and financial support, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest honors Partners for Youth each year in three categories - individual, corporate, and community. The honorees are presented at the Bids for Kids Auction & Gala, held annually in the fall.
“We are grateful to have an organization in our community that provides kids with a place they can go to enjoy quality activities and events, and we are proud to support them,” said Phil Baldwin, co-owner of CPS Heating & Cooling. “We are committed to participating in and giving back to the community and our endeavors with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest are an opportunity to do that.”
