Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010: Danfoss Introduces the Comfort Zone for Residential A/C
ORLANDO, Fla. - At the Danfoss Press Breakfast, John Galyen highlighted the company’s EnVisioneering symposia series, developed to create a dialogue on important energy issues and initiatives. In 2010, upcoming symposia will discuss the systems approach to net zero energy and the smart grid.
Steve Gugliotta then introduced the company’s new technology for residential air conditioning that maximizes efficiency and comfort. The Comfort Zone includes the Performer VSD compressor system, EcoFlow electronic expansion system, and the Micro Channel Heat Exchanger.
The VSD provides load matching and is prepared for the smart grid. The EcoFlow is designed to optimize evaporator performance. The Micro Channel Heat Exchanger provides a 10-15 percent SEER improvement.
