The Duct-Free Flex Multi-Split Quad-Zone air conditioning features industry-leading energy efficiency and design flexibility, the company says. It offers 9,000-, 12,000-, 18,000-, and 24,000-Btu with SEER ratings of 21 (both 9k and 12kBtu), 19, and 18, respectively. The system can operate up to four interior units mounted in separate rooms for easy temperature control in each setting, while connected to just one single exterior condensing unit. Also new to this model is the addition of indoor, wall-mounted thermostat controls for a variety of climate adjustment options. It is available in the Art Cool Inverter Mirror design-oriented series in designs such as a mirror finish, for a nontraditional climate control solution. It utilizes an advanced inverter compressor technology and R-410A refrigerant for an additional LEED-applicable solution. According to the company, the benefit of the inverter technology is quieter operation, coupled with a reduction in overall energy usage, as compared to conventional air conditioners.
