SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - SunLink® Corp. has announced that its roof module mounting system has begun shipping for one of the nation’s largest municipal solar installations, a 5 megawatt project located on the Sunset Reservoir in San Francisco. Chosen by Recurrent Energy, an independent power producer and a leading developer of solar power projects, SunLink’s system will be used to mount over 23,000 Suntech solar modules on the flat, seismically retrofitted rooftop of the Reservoir.

Upon completion in the fall of this year, the Sunset Reservoir project is estimated to more than triple municipal solar generation in San Francisco and reduce carbon emissions by over 100,000 metric tons.
