MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - “Striving for Sustainability” is the theme for the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada’s (HRAI) 42nd annual general meeting. It will be held Aug. 19-21 at the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta.
The kickoff breakfast will feature keynote speaker Kit Grant, whose presentation will help delegates recognize their responsibility in helping Canadians strive for a sustainable lifestyle from the products they purchase, to the homes and buildings they live and work in, to the resources they use on a daily basis.
According to Gerry Cellucci, HRAI chair, “The HRAI Annual Meeting provides an ideal venue for this industry to gather together and share ideas to help one another manage change and prosper in the future. This year’s three-day business program in the heart of the Canadian Rockies will offer a valuable and enjoyable 2010 Annual Meeting.”
Some of the business sessions for delegates will include: Demystifying Social Media, Winning in Tough Times, Control Applications in Commercial HVAC, Geothermal Integration, Improving System Performance, Succession Planning, HFC Retrofit Options for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Indoor Air Quality, and Putting the Philosophical Side of Sustainability into Practice.
