DALLAS - After a successful initial launch of the TA Hydronic College in North America, Tour & Andersson has announced the remaining 2010 schedule of its seminar “The Three Hydronic Conditions” in the United States and Canada.

Designed specifically for HVAC consulting engineers, designers, and installing contractors, the seminar provides a variety of practical and theoretical examples to highlight issues faced when designing, commissioning, and maintaining hydronic variable flow systems.

Subjects addressed during the seminar include the sources of imbalance and balancing methods, control loops and control valve authority, variable speed pumps vs. valve authority, control valve sizing, and differential pressure control. The seminar is the first in a series available from the TA Hydronic College, which has been delivering accredited training to European HVAC audiences for over 10 years.

The cities and dates for the fall schedule are:

• Vancouver, British Columbia, Sept. 9

• New York City, Sept. 23

• Kansas City, Oct. 5

• Washington, D.C., Oct. 27

• Phoenix, Nov. 2

• Los Angeles, Nov. 16

• Atlanta, Dec. 2

Seminars will be led by keynote speaker Bjarne Andreasen, a member of the College teaching staff since 2000. Bjarne presents regularly to audiences in Scandinavia, as well as Austria, Spain, China, Singapore, and the United States.

“We’re very excited about the fall schedule,” said Dave Weir, president of Tour & Andersson North America. “We are ramping up with updated materials and adding to our teaching staff, as there is obviously a demand for this quality information in the North American market. We’re happy to become a trusted resource, and are already planning for a strong 2011.”
