LAS VEGAS - Emerson Industrial Automation hosted AHR Expo pre-conference NATE-recognized education seminars.
More than 100 people attended the educational events. The seminars focused on sharing ways that mechanical HVAC contractors, technicians, and facility managers can achieve sustainable energy maintenance and cost savings. Emerson offered two three-hour seminars, one on Thursday, Jan. 27, and another on Friday, Jan. 28, as part of its Save the Green Initiative.
“We were incredibly pleased by the high attendance to both of our seminars,” said Andy Nowak, HVAC industry manager. “The seminars were so popular that some attendees requested additional classes from the on-site trainers. The interest sends a clear message that the industry is moving in a more environmentally friendly direction.”
The seminars taught contractors how to help their customers reduce energy and maintain costs, showed facility managers how to improve energy-efficiency, and gave all attendees new resources, such as smart phone applications, to draw information from in the field.
According to the company, through its Save the Green Initiative, hotels, convention centers, big box retailers, government facilities, and institutions all have been able to attain millions of dollars in savings.
