Monday, Jan. 31, 2011: Comfort-Aire Demonstrates Small-Duct High-Velocity Air Handling System
LAS VEGAS - Comfort-Aire is demonstrating the operation of its new small-duct high-velocity air handling system. The SDHV consists of an air handler, supply plenum, and flexible ducts that fit behind/beneath walls, ceilings, and floors to deliver conditioned air where it’s needed. Ducts are just 2 to 2-1/2 inches in diameter with outlet covers in a variety of finishes or ready-to-finish.
The company says the system maintains the architectural integrity of custom homes and historical properties, and allows the addition of ductwork where it might otherwise be impractical.
