ATLANTA - Bardi Heating & Air Conditioning (Norcross, Ga.) was named runner-up as “Best Workplace” in its size category by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper based on employee response to an independent survey. Some 166 companies competed for the honor.
Nominations flooded in from Bardi employees, explaining why they have a fierce loyalty to the firm. One technician said he was “proud of the professional leadership team which steers the organization.” Another employee cited “company ethics.” Team members also applauded “long-term career opportunities” and Bardi’s “economic success during the ongoing recession.”
Firm owner and president Alex Bardi hopes his ironclad customer satisfaction policy makes the daily business of installation and service an easy policy to follow. “We offer a 100 percent moneyback guarantee,” said Bardi. “We don’t cut corners. That makes life easier for everyone.”
Bardi was also honored this week for the third year in a row as a Top 25 Small Business. Based on steady growth and profitability, they were selected out of 300 entries by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
On Friday, April 22, more than 50 HVAC staff and technicians gathered for a celebration breakfast at the office and to get a preview of their new T- shirt, which has printed on it “T.G.I.M.” – Thank God it’s Monday.
