HOUSTON - Goodman® Air Conditioning & Heating has launched a redesigned website, www.goodmanmfg.com. The company said the refreshed site displays a new graphic look that allows users to quickly and easily find product and brand information, plus several interactive features.
With a new section for product registration, homeowners and dealers can enter the required data faster than the previous website design allowed. The energy calculator is a tool for homeowners and dealers alike. With just a few keystrokes, users will discover the savings possible from a comparison of their current heating and cooling system compared to a new one, said the company. Not only will you be able to view the annual savings, but a 10-year payback figure is also provided.
HVAC dealers will find the Goodman website is designed to help support their sales function. The revamped site allows dealers to explain the benefits of the complete Goodman brand product line. The site facilitates direct comparisons of various efficiency levels, complete product information, warranty coverage, and more.
If homeowners are not familiar with the Goodman brand, dealers can turn to the website, which explains the history of the company and provides information designed to deliver a full presentation relative to the strength of the brand.
The site also serves as an HVAC resource with downloadable brochures such as “Decision Time: A Repair or Replacement Guide for HVAC equipment.” A special link displayed on all product pages goes directly to a central database of all national, regional, and local HVAC rebate programs. Included in this section is an overview of the various rebate programs and, in many instances, the forms or paperwork to claim the rebate.
“This is phase one for our site recharge,” explained Rex Anderson, director of communications for Goodman. “More good things are planned as we strive to make information more accessible and interesting for both homeowners and our dealers.”
