Enhancements to the entire Fiberglas™ pipe insulation product line, along with the company’s SSL II® positive closure system, deliver consistent pipe insulation sections that are easier to install and have a smooth appearance. Additionally, the pipe insulation cartons have been upgraded to make them sturdier to withstand the rigors of rugged jobsites. The pipe insulations are molded of heavy-density resin bonded inorganic glass fibers. Insulation for hot, cold, concealed, and exposed piping operating at temperatures from 0° to 850°F (-18 to 454°C) in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and process or power plants. According to the manufacturer, the pipe insulation meets model code fire ratings, and its moisture resistance ensures stable high R-value of 5 per inch.
