The fittings offer ease of installation and disconnection, minus the need for any tools. Disconnection should not result in any damage to the fitting or piping, says the company. The test cap can be removed at any stage in order to allow work to continue. To use the cap, push the fitting fully on to the pipe. Should the need arise to demount the connection, push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release.
