NATURAL BRIDGE STATION, Va. — Connie Loughhead, Heatex America president, was named the Business Individual of the Year by the chamber of commerce board serving Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge Counties in Virginia. Loughhead was recognized for her insightfulness to see future needs in the community and beyond, creating jobs, and improving relationships between agencies. Chamber officials also applauded her efforts to make the community a better place to live, work, and enjoy. Loughhead started Heatex’s North American division in 2004. Last year the company built a 39,000-square-foot facility in the Natural Bridge Station industrial park, where Crossflow air-to-air heat exchangers, Counterflow, and rotary heat exchangers are manufactured for the North and South American markets.
