Aire Serv ran a sweepstakes with Aire Serv franchisees throughout the United States and Canada that gave homeowners a chance to win a heating and air conditioning system. For every 10,000 entries submitted, $1,000 would be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities location in the winning entrant’s area.
Joanne Collmar, the winning entrant in Fort Worth, received a heating and air conditioning system valued at $12,000, which included an air conditioning unit and gas furnace donated by Lennox, thermostat, filtration system, maintenance agreement, and more.
“This sweepstakes not only benefited a homeowner in need of a new, energy efficient heating and air conditioning system, but helped out a great organization to continue helping families in need,” said Kelvin Rogers, owner of the Aire Serv of Fort Worth franchise. “Each House depends on volunteers and donations from the community to operate, so to say I was excited to hear our local Forth Worth House would benefit from the sweepstakes was an understatement.”
“This is a unique opportunity for our House,” said Jennifer Johns, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. “Aire Serv is truly exhibiting how corporations can partner with the non-profit sector through this type of sweepstakes. Our organization relies heavily on the generosity of corporations, individuals, and foundations as only 10 percent of our operating budget comes from the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This gift provides significant support to our daily operations, and we are extremely grateful.”
