ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s (ACCA’s) Radiant & Hydronics Council (RHC) announced that Dan Holohan of HeatingHelp.com has joined the council’s advisory committee as a consultant.

“Dan’s extensive knowledge of hydronics makes him a great addition to the RHC’s advisory committee,” said Dan Foley, RHC advisory committee chairman and president of Foley Mechanical in Lorton, Va. “His unique insight and experience will help the RHC continue to grow and provide valuable information to all of its members. We are extremely pleased that he has chosen to be a part our group.”

“I’ve always appreciated ACCA’s focus on the contractor. I think the Radiant & Hydronics Council melds well with the good work ACCA has done over the years on air-based systems,” said Holohan. “As we come out of the Great Recession, contractors will need to take a systems approach to all that they do — both technically and business-wise — and that’s what ACCA/RHC represents to me. This is a good, smart group of professionals. I look forward to sharing ideas with them.”

Holohan has been in the radiant and hydronics industry for over 40 years. He began his career working as a manufacturer’s representative and now runs the popular website HeatingHelp.com. He is also a well known author and trainer, having written 17 books and hundreds of trade press articles.

The RHC is a group of ACCA contractor members who work in the hydronics market segment. For more information on the RHC, visitwww.acca.org/hydronicsor emailemily.rogers@acca.org.
