The late Woodard was a senior technical advisor for Brady and worked with the company for more than 42 years. Brady associates committed to donating $2,000 and the company presented a matching $2,000 check to the college.
“Ted helped build Brady into the statewide organization it is today,” said Don Brady, chairman and founder of Brady. “He was both a mentor and friend to all Brady associates.”
Associates of Brady believed the memorial fund would be a fitting tribute to a man who they said was passionate about his trade, as well as building sustainable communities through education. Establishment of the fund further advanced the partnership between Brady and GTCC. Brady has provided the institution and its students with equipment, instructors, and scholarship funding for decades. In return, GTCC has provided the company with a pool of employment candidates.
