Following a successful premier in Philadelphia, the one-day technology sessions will be offered around the country, beginning with engagements on Oct. 4 in Chicago, Nov. 1 in Atlanta, and Nov. 29 in Tampa. Additional locations include Los Angeles, Dallas, and St. Louis in early 2013.
The focus of the seminars is products applied in air conditioning and refrigeration. Topics include CO2, variable-speed compressors, electronic expansion valves, and thermostatic expansion valves. The target audience includes HVACR contractors, OEMs, and consulting specifying engineers.
Junior Brown, a mechanic with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., was one of 30 people who attended the Philadelphia seminar.
“I heard about the program and thought it would be helpful to me in my job,” he said. “I was very glad I made the trip to Philadelphia because I learned a lot. I was especially interested in information about the expansion valve and was pleased with how well it was explained to me. Not only will it help me, but by sharing the information with my co-workers, the rest of the staff at SUNY Downstate will benefit from my experience.”
Jason Paquette, marketing manager, Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning said “The Danfoss Technology Theater represents yet another way that Danfoss is reaching out to contractors and other interested parties and engaging them in training that will keep them abreast of technology developments in the HVACR industry and enhance their work performance, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.”
