According to the company, efficiency is an energy resource, a “fifth fuel” in addition to the four typical energy sources of coal, petroleum, nuclear, and alternative energy. Servidyne’s Active Fifth Fuel Management program is designed to maximize energy efficiency while optimizing return on investment of buildings continuously throughout their lifecycle.
Active Fifth Fuel Management applies a continuous improvement process to the energy performance of a building portfolio. Servidyne’s building professionals guide customers through the process, beginning with a strategic plan and then setting priorities, assessing opportunities, and implementing improvements, while measuring and monitoring results along the way. In this way the program provides customers with a continual process to maximize the efficiency and sustainability of their portfolio of buildings.
Along with this expanded solution, Servidyne also announced several promotions within its leadership team. Rick Paternostro has been named as president. Based in the Atlanta headquarters office, he will lead the business strategy and growth of the company. Prior to being named president, he held various leadership positions within the organization, where he planned and directed all aspects of Servidyne’s operational and financial strategies and tactical initiatives, including full P&L responsibility.
In addition, Servidyne announced the promotions of Jim Dore to senior vice president of business development, Brent Tracy to vice president of project development, and Chris Cutcliff to vice president of operations.
“We are very excited about enhancing the delivery of our mission to provide our customers with world class energy management programs and solutions and to further our leadership position in the industry, continually driving progress and innovation,” said Paternostro. “I am proud to be surrounded by one of the most highly experienced, progressive leadership teams in the industry and congratulate Jim, Brent, and Chris on their well-deserved promotions.”
