HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — MARS, a leading commercial and residential HVACR motors and components supplier, announced that it has acquired Heat Controller Inc., Jackson, Mich., a leading commercial and residential HVAC equipment supplier. With this acquisition, MARS said it will become one of the most comprehensive industry suppliers of HVACR parts and equipment.

According to Edward Chernoff, president and CEO of MARS, the acquisition represents the company’s commitment to anticipate the needs of the marketplace and proactively invest in creating additional value for the customer. “This acquisition is a merger of equals.
