The purpose of the Low-GWP AREP program is to identify and evaluate promising alternative refrigerants for major product categories, including air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, ice makers, and refrigeration equipment. Final test results will be presented at the conference.
“This conference will provide AREP contributors with an excellent opportunity to share the results of their research, and raise awareness about the work members of the HVACR and water heating industry are conducting to foster environmental stewardship,” said Stephen Yurek, AHRI president and CEO. “We encourage those interested to join us and learn more about this groundbreaking program and the impact it will have on our industry and the citizens of the world.”
Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), national laboratories, and universities will share detailed information and test results from the program. The conference also will serve as a forum for the test entities to share their experiences and discuss technical challenges and future research needs.
Registration for the conference is available at www.ahrinet.org.
