ATLANTA — A survey re-vealed 83 percent of respondents believe climate change is happening.
The survey, compiled from members of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), revealed that, based on 2,967 responses, 83 percent of respondents believe climate change is happening, and 74 percent of those individuals believe that climate change is a manmade phenomenon, with 85 percent indicating that the federal government should take action to combat the negative effects of climate change.
Additionally, 77 percent believe new energy-efficiency standards for homes should be adapted, while 83 percent think pursuing further development of renewable energy is a must. For more information, visit www.aeecenter.org.
