The Pan Saver by RGF® is a condensate pan microbial reduction unit designed to eliminate microbial growth in HVAC system condensate pans and drain lines. Utilizing a micro turbine, which is driven by the suction side of the system blower, low voltage is produced and sent to the anode, which disperses silver and copper ions into the condensate water. According to the manufacturer, the Pan Saver is a totally green product that consumes no electricity and releases natural minerals to the drainage system. The magnetic mounting plate makes for a simple installation on the fan housing of any split or package air conditioning system. This unit is maintenance-free and carries a two-year warranty.
