BOURNE, Mass. — Onset, a leading supplier of data loggers, has announced a three-session, online training package on Energy Charting and Metrics (ECAM) software, a free Microsoft Excel®-based tool designed to streamline the analysis of energy use information from buildings.

Hosted by Onset and developed and presented by Bill Koran, director of energy analytics at NorthWrite Inc., the ECAM training package will provide step-by-step instructions on all features, from installation and initial charting to creating data-driven models, custom reporting, analyzing multiple data points, and performing a range of other functions.

Developed with funding from multiple public agencies and organizations devoted to energy efficiency, ECAM is used by individuals and organizations across the U.S., including corporations, utilities, universities, and national laboratories, and also has users around the world.
