“Conservation Services Group is a nationally recognized leader in energy efficiency program management. We have been working as an approved contractor with them for some time and appreciate the opportunity to provide additional services for them and their customers,” said David Kirk, president of Smart Sealed.
With this partnership, a Smart Sealed analyst will visit a customer’s home to conduct the energy assessment necessary to prepare the Home Energy Report while also making small energy- and cost-saving improvements that immediately make a positive impact on a home’s energy use. These improvements may include installing efficient faucet aerators and showerheads, and installing hot and cold water pipe wraps.
Based on the findings of the Home Energy Report, customers may be eligible for a rebate incentive. Currently, that incentive is up to 50 percent off certain work, up to $1,250, when customers complete recommended energy-efficiency improvements like insulation and air sealing. Currently, the CSG program is limited to customers serviced by both Nicor and ComEd.
Kirk added, “CSG works very closely with their clients to design programs that help homeowners with a ‘kick start’ on improving their home’s efficiency. CSG’s experience, combined with the strength of their local team, gives Chicagoland consumers an effective advocate for a more efficient, comfortable home that uses less energy. Program partnerships are an important part of our business and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with CSG and our local utilities.”
