Technicians can prepare for the NATE exams by attending a four-hour course immediately preceding the testing session, hosted by APR Supply from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. led by Eddie Howell, a 38-year HVACR veteran and APR Supply’s technical services advisor group manager. Technicians can choose to take the NATE Core and/or a NATE specialty exam for $125 each.
HVACR technicians can earn installation and/or service certification in 11 specialty areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, oil heating, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, commercial refrigeration, light commercial refrigeration, ground source heat pump, and senior efficiency analyst.
“NATE is pleased to partner with our friends at APR Supply Co. and hope technicians from far and wide take advantage of the opportunity to take the NATE exam this September,” said NATE COO John Lanier.
Registration forms for the testing session are available on the NATE website at www.natex.org/nate-events and the APR Supply website at www.aprsupply.com.
