Stephen P. Cole, 59, a partner of the Charles R. Dubay Co. and owner of Pensotti North America, died Sept. 20, 2013, at a Bangor, Maine, hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Washburn, Maine.
The son of Gerald and Eleanor (Porter) Cole, Stephen graduated from Washburn High School in 1972. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending his grandsons’ football games and granddaughters’ dance recitals. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and snowmobiling.
He was a member of the St. Alderman Commandery No. 17, of Houlton, and the Anah Shriners of Bangor. Stephen was on the board of directors and a member of the Maine Oil Dealers Association.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Milford and Charles Cole. Stephen is survived by his wife of 33 years, Suzanne (LeVasseur) Cole; daughter Heather Cole; two stepsons, Monte Billings (Shirley) and Michael Tompkins (Deedee); stepdaughter, Marcia Raymond; grandchildren, Tyler Raymond (Amy), Micah Raymond (Sheila Toomey), Ashley Nute (Adam), Adams Billings, and Quinn and Cole Tompkins; three great-grandchildren; and many friends from all over the state of Maine.
