ROCK SPRING, Ga. — Carrier Enterprise of Chattanooga, Tenn., donated a touch-screen Wi-Fi thermostat and controller to help train students in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Carrier has donated well over $10,000 in equipment and training to the program located at the college’s Walker County Campus in Rock Spring, Ga.

“The latest gifts are all components of the Infinity air conditioning system, one of Carrier’s top models,” said Michael Meyer, Georgia Northwestern Technical College HVAC director. “It helps us train tomorrow’s techs. And when these industry reps come in, it’s networking for my students, too. They are learning the right things and meeting the right people.”

Carrier also provides free training at its Chattanooga location on the service of its products to Georgia Northwestern HVAC students.
